Wk 35 Day 2

Numbers 9:17
¹⁷ Whenever the cloud lifted from above the Tent, the Israelites set out; wherever the cloud settled, the Israelites encamped.

CLOUD: We have here the history of the cloud; not a natural history: who knows the balancings of the clouds? but a divine history of a cloud that was appointed to be the visible sign and symbol of God's presence with Israel. [Matthew Henry]

.. The Israelites were that sensitive to God's presence, although they had an advantage of sight - seeing the clouds as a sign of His presence.
.. They were obedient to where God would lead them.
.. They would move whereever God would lead them to go. (v. 18)

US:
.. How sensitive are we to God's leading in our lives?
.. Are we obedient when God tells us to "move" from one place to another?
.. Where is the "cloud" set in our lives right now?

BL:
.. I want to be obedient to God whenever and where ever He wants to move the "clouds".
.. I know God has great plans for my life and He wants to be glorified in all that I do, thus, He's moving the "clouds" around to see if I am obedient.
.. I want to be more sensitive where God places the "cloud" so I can stay there and be under the presence of God always.
.. Where's the cloud in my life right now?

// Lord, You know all things. I pray that you will help me as I obey you; that I will not be consumed by my own desires and only want to move whenever I want to. I pray that you will help me to be sensitive to Your presence; where ever and whenever you rest the "clouds", I pray that I will know which part of my life you are specifically telling me to "move". I know your clouds is generally over me yet, I know that you are also teaching me to know where your clouds is resting in specific aspects of my life. Please let me know clearly. I just want to rest in You. Thank you, In Jesus' name, amen.
