God is my...

Wk 49 Day 4

Psalm 142:1-3
1 I cry aloud to the LORD;
I lift up my voice to the LORD for mercy.
2 I pour out my complaint before him;
before him I tell my trouble.
3 When my spirit grows faint within me,
it is you who know my way.
In the path where I walk
men have hidden a snare for me.

// This Psalm tells me a few things:

.. God is my confidant - I can tell Him everything in me; from hurts, pains, to joy, and happiness. Everything! I can trust that He will listen and hear me out.

.. God is my trust - I can tell him all my trouble

.. God is my source of mercy - the one thing that I need daily because I fail Him many times.

.. God is my path - He knows where to lead me; to the paths where I am safe and secure especially at times when my spirit is faint as well, just as David. Many times when we are faint [lacking courage; cowardly; timorous], it is easy for us to lose heart and give up on things. Yet we know that even at times when we are faint in our spirit, the Lord knows which path we must take during our lowest point; during our weakest moments when we do not know what to do. Therefore, we must trust in Him by allowing Him to lead us and guide us.

// Belle:

.. Yes, I tell God many things in my heart - good and not-so-good, I tell them all to Him. Because He is my confidant, I know that I am secure - He will only advise me good things that will be good for me because He wants to be glorified. Because that's what He does, I must make sure that I am walking in Him; in the path of His light; not swerving my way to paths that are not firm, shaky or unsure.
.. Many times I feel faint in my spirit, yet I know God is my path. I can only know God's path [the One who only knows my way] if I am also sensitive to His leading. I must be discerning and sensitive in my heart and spirit. How? I will be in constant communication with Him; increasing the time I spend with Him consciously; reading more of His Word free from human opinions; but only pure Word of God. I trust that He will speak to me effectively as it should. I will just be faithful and trusting in Him at all times!

// Lord, glory to Your name. How great are You, Oh God! You are my confidant. You are my way. I pray that You will make me consistently sensitive to Your leading. Thank you for just who You are - and You never change! I praise YOU! I just entrust to You my daily walk that even at times I am fainting in my spirit, I will remember and only remember that You know which way I must take. You are amazing and I will trust in You! In Jesus' name, amen.
