8 "I am the LORD; that is my name!
I will not give my glory to another
or my praise to idols.
9 See, the former things have taken place,
and new things I declare;
before they spring into being
I announce them to you."

.. The prophecy and predictions of God has been revealed and came to pass.
.. The Lord is true to His promises
.. The prophets were used as His spokesmen for what He was going to do - and is going to do
.. God is a jealous God and only deserves all the praises
.. God is gracious to announce things ahead so we may know
.. He shows who He is by fulfilling what was said about what's going to happen - or what He's told the prophets - or those He's telling ahead (used vessels - people)
.. Because of that, people will know that HE IS GOD!
