5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
6 Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.
7 Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom.
Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil.
8 Then you will have healing for your body
and strength for your bones.
// THOUGHTS:
.. No matter how many times we read about the same passage, the Lord always speaks to us in many ways in times when we need it.
_Principles:
.. Do not rely on your own understanding or wisdom.
.. Do not be too proud of what you know.
.. Regardless of what you already know, continue to rely on God's wisdom and knowledge
.. When we think we know what to do (without seeking God about it but only depending on what we somewhat know), don't jump into it; God's "say" must be the final.
.. God will always tell us which path to take at His sovereign time when we seek His will and when we are willing to obey and follow His ways.
// BELLE:
.. It's not about how much I know about something - ways, process, procedure, craft, etc. I must always rely on the ways of the Lord by seeking His will
.. Find out what He says about specific things already revealed in His Word, and continue to consecrately seek His will if they aren't so laid out in the Word of God.
.. Above all, TRUST in His ways. Not my ways.
// Lord, thank you for another reminder of trusting in You. Regardless of what I already know in some areas of life, I pray that my attitude would always be in finding out what You want and what You will in my life. Even if I seem to know the way to do things, I pray that You will always guide me through that I will be able to discern which path to take. I will seek You daily in my life. Help me to trust in You continually; to always have a heart and mind like a sponge ready to absorb your guidance. Please be with me Lord. In Jesus' name, amen.
