Clean Nook

Numbers 4:49
At the LORD's command through Moses, each was assigned his work and told what to carry.
      Thus they were counted, as the LORD commanded Moses.


// THOUGHTS:

.. The Lord commanded Moses to number the people - we have an account of specific numbers of people who belong to whichever tribe they were in.
.. The Lord had assigned them specific tasks based on which tribe they were in.
.. Moses was obedient to do this task - though it was tasking and redundant.
.. To have the exact number of count, they (Moses and Aaron) must have been "sweeping through" each of the details - how many people were there, what age, what tribe, etc.

_Principles:
.. The Lord cares about specifics and details.
.. As leaders, it is important to be "sweeping through" (cleaning up) our jobs with what God is calling us to do.
.. There are times when our jobs are tasking and redundant; yet, we ought to be "clean" (no mess) in whatever job we are asked to do.
.. The way to have a clean job is when we take care of the details and the specifics.  We can't brush through each job; go through each of the "nook" and make sure that our jobs are "clean."


// BELLE:

.. I will take care of the specifics and the details of the jobs I am assigned to do - when I'm at home, when I'm working on events; coordinating stuff, when I'm working on printed materials or stuff like that, when I'm dealing with the ins and outs of the ministry, and even in my own personal life. 
.. I must make sure they are not brushed through on what is seen, but the details and specifics of it are thought out, planned out, and acknowledged to the point of it being dealt with. 

// Lord, there are specifics in my life that You know I need help in.  I pray that You will help me as I take it one-step-at-a-time to work on them that "my jobs" will be "clean" in every "nook" of it.  Thank you for such great principles you have shown me today.  Help me that in every work I do, it will bring glory back to You!  In Jesus' name, amen.
