Look, Hear and Pay Attention - con't.

Ezekiel 48:35b
"And the name of the city from that time on will be: THE LORD IS THERE"


// THOUGHTS:
.. So this is after Ezekiel has been given all the specifics of what needed to be done.  This was part of the instructions given by God through a vision that he had to look, hear, and pay attention to.  In the end of these instructions, the LORD assured Ezekiel that He will be there; that the city will be called Yahweh Shammah.

_Principles:
.. The Lord is specific in His instructions to us.  Just like Ezekiel, we must learn to look, hear, and pay close attention to what He's instructing us to do.
.. With the instructions the Lord provides for us, He promises not to leave us nor forsake us (Deut. 31:8) - He is faithful in following through His promises (1 Thessalonians 4:24).  In other words, HE WILL BE THERE with us all the way through.
.. Therefore, we must know the specifics of God's instructions.  Follow it and take heed.  Believe that when He says He will be there, HE WILL.

// BELLE:

.. It has now come to a point that I am understanding this passage from last Saturday's devotion of looking, hearing, and paying attention.  I admit, I did not pay close attention nor look closely or hear intently with the situations that I am currently in.  May the Lord forgive me, and I know He will and already has.
.. Now, I will take heed of the instructions and the specifics I have to do in order to follow through God's plan and purpose for what's going on.  Praise God, He will be with me all the way.  There are a lot of things that I know I am not capable of doing on my own and will ever be.  Yet, I know that with the Lord's promise of Him being there as my Jehovah Shammah, I know I am okay.
.. Will find out the specifics.  Will get them organized.  Will write them down.  Will "tell the house... everything I see."  Huge call, difficult job.  I WILL DO IT!


// Lord God, You already know what's in my heart.  You know this is beyond my capability and even beyond my fear.  Yet, I know that You will be glorified.  That Your name will be lifted high.  People will see Your greatness and Your power at work within my life and the life of Your ministry that You have entrusted to me.  Please help me Lord.  I entrust this to You.  May You be exalted and glorified.  In Jesus' name, amen.
