Week 4 Day 5.5

Exodus 14-16; Psalm 21; Acts 1-3

Exodus 16:17-18
The Israelites did as they were told; some gathered much, some little. ¹⁸ And when they measured it by the omer, he who gathered much did not have too much, and he who gathered little did not have too little. Each one gathered as much as he needed.

_The Lord is the Provider
_The Israelites were complaining that there were no food for them and compared themselves when they were still in Egypt.
_The Lord provided for the in ways we cannot even comprehend
_God's provision was there; the Israelites just had to obey - step by step
_When they did obey, they were filled to what they could handle (v. 18)

My obedience to the Lord manifests His promises to reality.

Do I not believe?  Have I not seen the miracles of God unfold (like the Israelites were miraculously brought out of Egypt)?  Am I going to complain after seeing the miracle of God unfold?  Or am I going to just obey and trust for His promises of provision?  No contest. And if there were, I lost.

Step by step, I will obey the Lord.  Step by step, I will see His promises manifest to reality.  TRUST AND OBEY, over again.


// LORD, (sigh) do I not learn?  What is stopping me from believing even after I have seen your miracles unfold in my life?  Forgive me, Lord.  I pray that You will help me to continually trust and obey you in every single step you command me to do.  Help me to be very obedient to You to the dot.  By the power of Your Holy Spirit, I will find out what You want me to do and do it step by step even until after You have manifested your will in my realm of reality.  Thank you for You are unchanging.  In Jesus' name, amen.
