Week 3 Day 2

Genesis 39-41; Luke 16

Genesis 39:5; 21-23
From the time he put him in charge of his household and of all that he owned, the LORD blessed the household of the Egyptian because of Joseph. The blessing of the LORD was on everything Potiphar had, both in the house and in the field.
²¹ the LORD was with him; he showed him kindness and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden. ²² So the warden put Joseph in charge of all those held in the prison, and he was made responsible for all that was done there. ²³ The warden paid no attention to anything under Joseph's care, because the LORD was with Joseph and gave him success in whatever he did.

// THOUGHTS:

• Blessings are from God (James 1:17).
• Joseph was a carrier of God's blessings.
• He carried it where ever he went regardless his situation.
• The blessings of God is not altered by the situations he faced.
• Why?  He was a man of integrity (39:9), handled his jobs very well (39:2), no records of complaining and dissatisfaction in life regardless the situations he was placed into.

// BELLE:

I can also be a carrier of blessing to where ever and whatever situation God puts me into.  The blessings of God does not alter because of the my situations.  He remains to be the "Blesser" of all blessings.  I just need to remain living in integrity regardless the temptations that may come along the way, handle my jobs well (the things God has entrusted me) and do things in joy from the heart!

The blessings of God does not alter even if things don't seemingly go the way the world sees it as a blessing.  Joseph could've given up already but he didn't.  He could've complained but he didn't.  Rather, he carried on with the blessings of God to which ever situation he was in because he knew that God does not change in providing and fulfilling His promises regardless what situation he was in.

Integrity.  Faithfulness.  Joy.

// LORD, thank you for such a great reminder that You can always use me to bring blessing to whatever situation I am in.  Help me as I continue to do my part in keeping up with integrity, faithfulness in my jobs and to do things in a joyful attitude.  I praise You because You never change and Your blessings are innumerable!  With that, I have not reason to complain.  Remind me of this daily and in every moment!  In Jesus' name, amen!
