Week 9 Day 3
Numbers 24-27; 1 Cor. 13
Numbers 24:3-4
3 and he spoke his message:
“The prophecy of Balaam son of Beor,
the prophecy of one whose eye sees clearly,
4 the prophecy of one who hears the words of God,
who sees a vision from the Almighty,
who falls prostrate, and whose eyes are opened...
How awesome would it be to be named or described as one who sees, hears, fear the Lord the way Balaam was! What made the difference? His conviction to ONLY AND ONLY "...say what the Lord says" This meant, no other agenda (selfish motivation or intentions) included but God's alone.
In what way can we only have God's agenda be evident in our lives? Focus on God alone - only and only!
// BELLE:
I need to only and only have Christ's agenda in ALL the things I do; that my heart, mind, and words be filled with the things of Christ ALONE! I need to continually refocus my attention to Him that my actions would reflect my awe in Him and how much I love my Lord and Saviour.
Lord, I want you to be clearly evident in my life - in both little and big things. I don't want to cater to anything that is NOT of you. Help me to be strong and to fight against the battle of doing what I think is right or feel is right to do; may it be all that You want me to do and even feel. May You strengthen my conviction and help me to do things out of LOVE - agape love! I want to be obedient to You and please help me to carry out what You have been telling and reminding me to do. Love is pure and selfless. I wanna have that kind of love. In Jesus' name, and the by the power of your Holy Spirit, amen.
