His Love Endures Forever

Psalm 136:1-3 (NLT)
 ¹ Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good!
         His faithful love endures forever.
 ² Give thanks to the God of gods.
         His faithful love endures forever.
 ³ Give thanks to the Lord of lords.
         His faithful love endures forever.


This chapter goes on and on with various things the Lord has done and David, just giving thanks by naming them in honor of God's name.

What can we thank God for in specifics?

For He has given me the salvation of my soul
 His faithful love endures forever.

He has provided me with all I have needed.
 His faithful love endures forever.
He directs my path and gives me light to where I need to go
 His faithful love endures forever.

For shedding light when my ways seemed clouded with doubt and confusion
 His faithful love endures forever.
For being my constant friend in all seasons of life
 His faithful love endures forever.

There's so much more I can write about God and ALL that He's done for me is not enough to fit here.  But these few lines at least reminds me HOW GREAT my GOD is - all that He's done and what He's still going to do.  This has become more like a cliche to many people, but HE REALLY IS WHO HE IS and He doesn't change! I will praise Him all my life!

Lord, YOUR LOVE ENDURES FOREVER!  I pray that You will be pleased with my life regardless my frailties.  You are so awesome and amazing for WHO YOU ARE!  I will praise You with my life and live for You for the rest of my being.  I honor You and I praise You for the joy that You have given to me.  I lift everything to You in Jesus' name, amen.
