Childlike

Matthew 11:25
²⁵ At that time Jesus prayed this prayer: “O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, thank you for hiding these things from those who think themselves wise and clever, and for revealing them to the childlike.

The Lord is not stingy in giving wisdom to people - AS LONG AS they have a childlike heart.  Those who think they got it all together with a prideful heart, the Lord "hides" things and wisdom from them. 

Principle: The Lord gives wisdom to those who are childlike.

Therefore, be childlike.  What is it to be childlike?
.. innocent of evil
.. humble
.. the hear to soak in wisdom
.. obedient
.. easy going
.. attentive
.. etc

Today and every day, I need to be childlike.  I need God's revelation on a lot of things in my life (some to mention - plans for next year's ministry, re-organization of things, how to approach things to correct certain things now, open mind to see what needs to be done, etc.)  I will remain humble before the Lord, as He is humbling me right now in the things I am involved in.  God is my wisdom and I will just wait for Him to drop things down on me and be faithful in everything God has entrusted me with, currently and what's to come.

// LORD, I need you. Please help me to be more Christ-like and have a childlike heart; soaking in Your Word and always being willing to humble myself even if at time it is difficult to do.  Please help me to just obey you in Jesus name, amen.
