John 8:47
He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.
It is a given that a child of God hears the Word of instruction from the Lord. There are those who hear but so not listen... And of course there are those who hear it and immediately listens as well.
I am a believer. I do hear the word of the Lord through various of things He uses to speak to me. Do I listen immediately when the Lord tells me to do something? Or do I pretend I didnt hear what He said?
My listening to God will prove that I belong to Him. When I hear Him, I must obey immediately.
// Lord, help me to be fearful of You.. That I may immediately obey what You told me to do, on a daily basis. In Jesus' name, amen.
