Jeremiah 8:9
...Since they have rejected the word of the Lord, what kind if wisdom do they have?
Rejection of God's word = foolishness. Acceptance and understanding of it = wisdom.
Any wisdom not founded in the word of the Lord is not wisdom at all.. It is not a God-kind of wisdom.
.. I can be assured that through reading, learning, and understanding the Word means a lifetime of wisdom. What else can I ask for? Needing for wisdom? Look to God's word.
.. Lord, I may havs known this before but You always have Your way in making it fresh again. Your Word is powerful and it can give me wisdom as fresh as the dew in the morning. You are so wonderful Lord and Your Word I will read and understand. Be glorified with the wisdom I will use from the gift of reading your Word. In Jesus' name, amen.
