“If I… then let it be…”

Job 31:4

⁴ Does he not see my ways
   and count my every step?

 

Job was confident to say the “if I… then let it be…” statement because of his guiltless conscience.  Indeed, the Lord knows the inner parts of us.  He will see us through our trials especially when we are continually faithful to Him.  May we be able to say what Job said so confidently knowing that we are guiltless in and blameless in our ways.  The Lord see our ways and counts our every step.

 

I will remain faithful to the Lord regardless of how hard life is.  I know that with all the wrongs I’ve done, the Lord is able to forgive me – and because of that, I must “Go and sin no more…” and live for His glory always.  I will live my life as blameless as I can be by the grace of God – living my life in integrity – whether seen or unseen, I must glorify my Lord!

 

// Lord, thank You for your forgiveness that is always available.  Yes, there are times I can say the “if I… then let it be…” statements, but I know there are many times I am convicted of my own faults.  I pray that You will cleanse me and forgive me.  Help me to live a lifestyle of integrity starting from the smallest to the biggest matters of life.  i just thank You for your LOVE that covers over a multitude of my sin.  I pray that You will help me live a blameless life.  In Jesus’ name, amen.
