Intermarried?

So now confess your sin to the LORD, the God of your ancestors, and do what he demands. Separate yourselves from the people of the land and from these pagan women.”
Then the whole assembly raised their voices and answered, “Yes, you are right; we must do as you say!” (Ezra 10:11, 12 NLT)

The Lord's command is clear truth. When we violate God's truth, He makes provisions for us to repent. He has His ways for us to get back on track. The Lord uses our spiritual elders to lead us back to that. We obey and follow it because God has anointed them to teach us His principles. They are specific and we can trust they are right.

Intermarrying was disgusting to the Lord. What worldly things are we intermarrying ourselves into? Who are these people we are associating that we know we shouldn't be associating anymore as a whole; as a church? We need to be careful and let people know the steps in which we need to get back on track.

Am I the people? Am I Ezra? I could be both to certain situations. No intermarrying with worldly things nor people i must not be associating with anymore. I also must help direct people as an "Ezra" to those under my direction by God's direction.

Lord please give me grace. I trust that You have your ways and Im just going to obey your ways. Thank you for the reminder and the conviction. I will obey you and follow you. In Jesus' name, amen
