Build Unity

Nehemiah 2:10
When Sanballat the Horonite and Tobiah the Ammonite official heard about this, they were very much disturbed that someone had come to promote the welfare of the Israelites.

Religious spirit is what Sanballat and Tobiah had. One thing that we have to be very careful about is when we start criticizing others for the good that they are doing. As long as we know it is building up the people of God and causing more unity than division, and has been commissioned by the Lord through our spiritual authorities to do so, then worry not nor criticize not. It is God who always does the vindication. We are in unity and one in Christ.

Lord, may you change my heart if i am causing distress in my own spirit regarding what others are doing who are also in the intention of building your kingdom. If the motive behind their act is not to build your church, then expose it in your way. Help me to just trust that your ways are better than mine. Help me to support what you are doing through others. I cast out the sprit of religiosity and legalism, control and power in the name of Jesus, amen!
