Isaiah 55:2-3
Why spend your money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.
Focusing on 55:2b, what labor am I doing where it does not satisfy? Where do I spend my money where it's not bread (needs or for daily survival)?
Personal
Family
Work
- ministry
Ministries
- youth
- worship team
Or am I trying to get myself entangled with something that's unnecessary, thus, causing me to labor in vain and/or spend money unnecessarily?
I definitely do not need any more than what I am doing now. Everything I have now is just the basics -- and just getting by with the basics of daily needs.
I know that I am trying to see if I need to move to any other job -- non ministry related or at least a ministry that would pay on time and well enough, but it may nt be my time for that. I definitely need to just be faithful where I am now and excel in it as much as I can.
Lord, restore to me the joy of envisioning what is ahead with what I have now and where i am today... Please help me to remain content and satisfied with the little that I have, and not to worry about what comes ahead in the future because i know you always take care of me. I trust in You God, help me to have peace. In Jesus' name, amen
