At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. (Matthew 11:25 NIV)
The Lord honors those whose hearts are as that of children - like sponge, innocent and eager. He shows himself to them because they are pure in heart and don't have any wrong agenda in their heart of hearts.
Do I have that desire as that of a child, innocent, eager and sponge-like? I need to constantly become like a child - with child like faith, that I may really experience the greatness of what God can share to those whose hearts are pure.

Lord, please give me a heart like that of a child... Innocent, free, and spongelike. I do want to always be eager to hear and learn from you in everything. Help me to really be like that with childlike faith. Help me Lord that I may not be proud or closed minded. In Jesus' name,amen
