All God-Glorifying

So then, since Christ suffered physical pain, you must arm yourselves with the same attitude he had, and be ready to suffer, too. For if you have suffered physically for Christ, you have finished with sin. You won’t spend the rest of your lives chasing your own desires, but you will be anxious to do the will of God. (1 Peter 4:1, 2 NLT)

Now that I live for Christ, I don't chase my own desires anymore but rather anxious to do the will of God daily.

What desires do I think are still not godly desires? Ones that I know are clearly not God's will? I must rid of those and only do what God wills.  Not because it's not bad and or it's fun but rather, because it is what God wills.

This verse talks about us chasing after the sinful desires we have - those of what we used to do prior to our relationship with Christ.

Lesson:  Always seek out the will of God in everything.  There will be obvious ones, but there will also be ones we ought to seek God's face on to find out clearly what his will is.

I still desire to have a cafe and also establish a non-profit.  Is this God's heart or just mine?

What would make this my own? A couple of things I could think about...
.. If I pursue it out of a selfish, self-glorifying endeavor
.. If I end up not following the call of God into working full-time in the ministry

What could make this God's will?
.. If my desires will be solely because this is going to Glorify God alone
.. If this is in fact, done with the ministry mindset in place - though with a business perspective to operate things, but spiritually operating as a ministry at large

// Lord, I desire only your will and not mine.  Help me to be sensitive to your voice at all times.  GED me through the next steps.  I do only wanna glorify you in everything.  In Jesus' name, amen
