1 I will sing of the LORD's great love forever;
with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations.
2 I will declare that your love stands firm forever,
that you established your faithfulness in heaven itself.
No matter what happens around us, we must remember that the Lord is faithful. He fulfills what He promised and will not lie to us. He knows what's best for us and He knows when to fulfill what He has promised.
:: There are times when I want to give up on certain things in life. Yet, to think and to remember that God will not violate what He has promised but will fulfill them, it makes me want to go on even if it's hard.
I need to just constantly think about the faithfulness of God in my life. All the things that He has done for me are nothing compared to the hardships that I go through. After all, they aren't really that hard. It just seems hard. Thinking of God's faithfulness will make me remember that He is not through with me yet; and He has great plans coming ahead. I just need to remain faithful to Him as well. I must tell about His faithfulness.
How has He been faithful to me?
.. I am still alive
.. I have been provided
.. I have a great family that is there to support me and love me
.. I have not given myself to the temptations that come along my way
.. I have an awesome church family
.. He still loves me no matter what I have done
.. etc
// Lord, I know I have failed you many times. There are a lot of times that I want to just give up on certain things, yet You always remind me that You are faithful. What You have promised and have told me are still yet about to come. Forgive me if my attitude of giving up shows doubt or any distrust regarding your will for me. I pray that I will just continue to trust in You no matter what comes my way. I must, BECAUSE YOU ARE FAITHFUL. You will stand by me no matter what happens. Thank You, in Jesus' name, amen.
