To Its Specifics

Exodus 39:27-31

²⁷^I)">(I)They made the tunics of finely woven linen for Aaron and his sons,

²⁸and the turban of fine linen, and the decorated caps of fine linen, and the linen breeches of fine twisted linen,

²⁹and the sash of fine twisted linen, and blue and purple and scarlet material, the work of the weaver, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.

³⁰^J)">(J)They made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and inscribed it like the engravings of a signet, "Holy to the LORD."

³¹They fastened a blue cord to it, to fasten it on the turban above, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.

// THOUGHTS:

.. The Lord commanded Moses about the details on how to create the Ark, the Priestly garments (passage above), specific instructions on how the Tabernacle had to be built and erected, etc.
.. What does this tell me about God? He cares about things to its specifics.
.. We already know that He cares about the things in life, the big and small things.
.. Even more so, He doesn't only give us the overview of things or how big or small the plans he has for us - but He also provides us with the specific direction on what to do because that's how detailed He is. ("..just as the Lord has commanded Moses")
.. Just to see how detailed He was when He created the universe, my body, the plant and animal life, it tells me that He is a God who cares to the details of things.
.. He provides us guidance (just as He did to Moses) on what to do so we can accomplish His plans He's made for us.
.. He gives us the right resources of what is needed in order to accomplish His work - He provides us with talents and abilities, He leads us to the right people at the right time, He allows seasons in life to add flavor, etc.
.. Our Christian life is enjoyable because we have a God who cares about the details of everything in our lives.


// MAIN PRINCIPLES:

.. God cares about the details.
.. He is a detail-oriented God. (ie. creation)
.. He provides resources for us.
.. He doesn't leave us wandering around on how to accomplish them.
.. He gives us guidance if we are willing to listen to His instructions.


// BELLE:

.. God cares about the details in my life. I admit that there are times I do not know exactly what is happening or what to do. Yet, He remains faithful to me. He knows exactly what's up and He provides me with the right resources (including my abilities and talents, people, opportunities) for me to carry out His will in my life. The blueprint that God has for me specifically is full of details that He knows about. Therefore, I must not be worried. He's guiding me every step of the way. I must be willing and obedient to the specific calls God has in my life. Whether big or small instructions, I must heed them because they lead to the glorification of His name. I must not undermine what may seem small but rather think of everything (based on God's lead and guidance) as a way of achieving God's purpose in my life.
.. No worries - He'll help me with the details. I don't need to fret how things are going to happen. He'll guide me to the details and specifics of things.
.. I just need to be faithful in obeying the details - the current calls He has for me. Then, I'll be alright.

// SO FAR:

.. "Heading back" will happen after I've taken them to theirs
.. Stay faithful, be content and satisfied where I am right now.
.. Build - or help will rise somewhere else.


// LORD, thank you SO MUCH for who You are. You are worthy of all my praise. I do not deserve things in my life, yet you remain so faithful. You are true to Your Word and Your Word is truth. Thank You for reminding me that You take care and care for the details of my life. You truly care for me. I can't pay you enough for everything You do for me - from salvation to living my life daily for You. Truly, it is difficult life, but because You are there, things are made fun and smooth. Yes, there are problems and dark nights that come along the way but that doesn't mean You're not there. The more You remind me You are there when dark nights come. I pray that You will help me to remain faithful to You in all that I do. Please guide me and help me to be sensitive to Your call in my life. For the main stuff You've already made clear, please help me to follow through. Help me to press on and to think always that in Your strength, I can do all things. Thank you, In Jesus' name, amen!
