Daniel 6:4-5 4 At this, the administrators and the satraps tried to find grounds for charges against Daniel in his conduct of government affairs, but they were unable to do so. They could find no corruption in him, because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent. 5 Finally these men said, "We will never find any basis for charges against this man Daniel unless it has something to do with the law of his God."
// THOUGHTS:
.. People will always be opposed to believers; they will find no corruption or basis for any charges because those who are true believers will be living in integrity. We already know that just like during Daniel’s time, people will always find something to get at us in order for us to retaliate.
.. Daniel was a total man of integrity. He might have been harassed and tempted to compromise his faith in God; but he didn’t
// BELLE:
.. This might be a short devotion, but this reminds me of people who will always find ways to put Christians down. With that, I can counteract that by not compromising my faith – v. 10 “…just as he had done before.” I gotta keep going with my faith no matter what people say about me as long as I keep my integrity clean by walking in Christ and putting on His attitude daily.
// LORD may you help me in keeping my integrity clear for Your name, amen.
