Revelation 17:14 (AMP)

14They will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will triumph over them; for He is Lord of lords and King of kings--and those with Him and on His side are chosen and called [elected] and loyal and faithful followers.

// THOUGHTS:

The Woman on the beast – all these things are going to happen in the end of days.  Nation after nation will get in ruins; people fighting with each other;  kingdoms versus kingdoms, etc.  Yet, the great encouragement we get is that “the Lamb will triumph over them…”  In the end of the book, we win “for He is the Lord of lords and King of kings…”

As believers, we ought to remain faithful all the way to the end – Revelation 16:15:

15Behold, I am going to come like a thief! Blessed (happy, [a]to be envied) is he who stays awake (alert) and who guards his clothes, so that he may not be naked and [have the shame of being] seen exposed!

Even though we know these terrible things are to come, we have comfort in Christ.  With our part, we ought to remain faithful and loyal to Him.

// BELLE:

What “end times” signs am I seeing happening now?  Many are growing cold and just neglecting their relationship with God.  What does that have to do with me?  I need to do my part – being faithful and true to my loyalty to Christ.  I also need to be faithful in the call that God has given me to be a teacher or someone that will encourage them to keep going in the faith.

Personally, I need to always nurture and grow my faith in Christ by consistently soaking myself in the Word, His presence, His thoughts, living my life for the glory of His name.  Many will be growing even more cold later and if I’m not doing my part for myself as well, I could be easily swayed.  SOAK SOAK SOAK!  Belle, be faithful and loyal all the way to the end no matter what comes along the way that may try to pull me away from that mindset.

// LORD, I pray that I will constantly and consistently embrace your grace that will empower me to survive all the way to the end.  I know there are a lot of distractions out there and even within myself that will try to ruin my persistence.  Please help me to will to persist and endure no matter what comes along the way.  I want and desire to always be on fire for You, not only during good times but especially at times when I don’t feel like it.  Thank you for winning the battle already.  I will remain in You in Jesus’ name, amen.
