Week 3 Day 5
 Genesis 48-49; Psalm 10; Luke 19

Genesis 48:17-19
When Joseph saw his father placing his right hand on Ephraim's head he was displeased; so he took hold of his father's hand to move it from Ephraim's head to Manasseh's head. 18 Joseph said to him, "No, my father, this one is the firstborn; put your right hand on his head."
 19 But his father refused and said, "I know, my son, I know. He too will become a people, and he too will become great. Nevertheless, his younger brother will be greater than he, and his descendants will become a group of nations."

// THOUGHTS:

In continuation to yesterday's devotion, there are a lot of things in life that we don't know exactly what God is doing or why He is allowing things to happen a certain way that we don't understand.  In the same way as Jacob blessed Ephraim's head with his right hand (who being the younger one) and Manasseh on the left (being the older one), one thing Jacob was sure about was when he said "I know, my son, I know."  He may not have revealed WHY but yet, there are certain things that just has to happen for God's glory to be revealed.

// BELLE:

God, in the same way, is telling me "I know, Belle, I know."  There really are things I do not comprehend right now.  There are things I am not sure why God is allowing to happen or perhaps, making it seem like He's not doing anything.  However, I know that He knows what's He's doing.  He has His ways of doing things in order that His name will be glorified in the end of it all.

Right now, I must continue to TRUST (again and again) and allow Him to just do it the way He wants to.  I may not understand, but I know He knows better than I do.

// LORD, my comprehension is limited, yet You remain great.  I will trust You in everything especially on the ones I do not currently understand.  I pray that You will lead me to the path of understanding that all my questions may be answered when it's time.  I will still follow and obey You regardless.  I know You know what You are doing and I am fully confident in You.  Please help me to listen to You even if things don't make sense.  In Jesus' name, amen.
