Week 13 Day 7.5
Judges 11-12; Psalm 50
Psalm 50:14-15
14 “Sacrifice thank offerings to God,
fulfill your vows to the Most High,
15 and call on me in the day of trouble;
I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”
The Lord highly sees our vows. Remembering Jephthah in Judges 11, even at the expense of his own daughter’s life, he fulfilled his vow to the Lord and we know that the Lord honors that (Psalm 50) and also delights in fulfilling His own promises to us.
What vows have we made to God that we haven’t followed through? Do we still wonder why we don’t get to defeat the enemies in our lives during days of trouble? Perhaps, it’s because we also haven’t done our part in fulfilling those vows to Him. It’s time to rise up. Submitting to God gives us the power to resist and defeat the devil. (James 4:7)

The four things. I have yet to fulfill them all. Though it’s the expense of choices and preferences, I must do what God has asked me to do that I’ve “vowed” to fulfill. I know something great is coming ahead. I shall be faithful!
>>
Lord, You know how much I need Your strength and power to fulfill The Four Things. I pray that You will guide me every step of the way. Help me not to give more importance on some things and neglecting the others. Please help me to be faithful to You – to not lose sight of the goals. I know You will guide me. Help me to grab hold of Your wisdom and power. All this is for Your glory alone! I lift it up to You. In Your name Jesus Christ, amen.
