Judges 17-18; Psalm 89
Psalm 89:30-33
30 “If his sons forsake my
and do not follow my statutes,
31 if they violate my decrees
and fail to keep my commands,
32 I will punish their sin with the rod,
their iniquity with flogging;
33 but I will not take my love from him,
nor will I ever betray my faithfulness.
This is the greatness of our God - He remains faithful and He remains loving to us even in our weakest point. It is true when he said, "His faithfulness will continue through all generations" because even David children could attest to this.
Of course, the Lord is loving, but we know that He is also just. He will hide himself (Psalm 89:46) from you if you reject him.
Therefore, accept His love, His faithfulness, His goodness. Do not waste His gift of love and faithfulness to us. We know we do not deserve it, yet, He freely gives it to us. Hallelujah!

How many times have I failed the Lord? Many times. Yes, He also has hid Himself from me. And it's true, the more I know about His unfailing love and faithfulness, I realize that I do not deserve it. Yet, He has given it to me. He is good to me and I have nothing to complain about. I will continually live for Him, serve Him and be strengthened by Him in all things and all days.
HE IS FAITHFUL AND LOVING TO ME! That is enough.

Lord, I know you are who you say you are. I pray that You will remind me of this always. I do not deserve it but You still give it to me. Help me to please live my life in accordance to Your will always in my life. Guide me Oh Lord and please give me strength to go on. In Jesus' name, amen.
