Matthew 3:13-15
13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. 14 But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?”
15 Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented.

"Let it be so now"
.. Just let it be
.. Allow it to happen
.. Let it go
"it is proper for us to do this"
.. It's just right for us to do this
.. It's meant for us to do this
"to fulfill"
.. To complete
.. To bring to pass
.. To come to reality
"all righteousness"
.. [Wesley] that I may fully perform every part of the righteous law of God, and the commission he hath given me.

Jesus didn't have to go through this, but it was necessary for Him to go through it for the fulfillment of rightousness.
Situations in life can be gone through for the sake of fulfilling God's way of doing things.
Due to this thought, if even Jesus had to allow these things to happen, then what right do I have not to allow things in life to let me fulfill His plans and will in my life? I will let them be. I will just allow it regardless of the things that it comes along with. If ultimately its purpose is to fulfill God's will and bring honor to His name, then I ought to just let it. It's just "proper" for me to let it. I will then, embrace things in life with joy that even though some situations may come with tears, I know in the end, it is for the best and for the glory of His name.
No weeping, no hurt or pain
No suff'ring You hold me now
You hold me now
No darkness no sickening
No hiding You hold me now,
You hold me now
In this life I will stand
Through my joy and my pain
Knowing there's a greater day
There's a hope that never fails
When You're name is lifted high
And forever praises last
For the glory of Your Name
I'll be livin' for the day
// Lord, let you be glorified in all these things that has to pass/occur. I look forward for your glory to be completely revealed in my life. I thank you for the comfort that even Jesus allowed these physical things to happen just so to fulfill all righteousness. I pray that you will empower me as I embrace all other things that I need to allow so I will truly obey Your will. Thank You Jesus, in Your name, amen.
