Young At Heart

Week 17 Day 2
1 Samuel 28-29; Ps. 109; Matthew 11

Matthew 11:25
At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.

The Word of the Lord is free for all.  Yet, it is revealed only to those who are "little children" at heart.
We must then, always be a child at heart - innocent, hungry for learning, ready to be disciplined, taking in things like a sponge, etc.

Am I a little child at heart?  I need to continually keep the eagerness to know God daily, to find out what He wants for me to do and become, to see which direction He wants to guide me, to see His Word as it is spoken directly, etc. 

Keep it young at heart, Belle.

Lord, please give me a heart like a child - always ready for something new and eager to hear your guidance and direction daily.  I pray that you instill in me an excitement and joyfulness to be in Your presence always as I continue to walk with You daily.  Thank you Lord in Jesus' name, amen.
