To Him Who Establishes

Week 23 Day 1
Proverbs 28-29; Psalm 60; Romans 16

Romans 16:25-27
Now to him who is able to establish you by my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past,  but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all nations might believe and obey him— to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.


Paul, the great apostle, acknowledges that it is HIM (God) who is able to establish people by the gospel Paul is proclaiming.  As great as an apostle Paul was, He was giving back all the acknowledgment to God who deserves ALL the glory forever!


Truths:
 _GOD establishes His people through the gospel we preach & the proclamation of Jesus Christ.
_It is not our gospel or what we preach that establishes people - IT IS GOD who does that work
_To God belongs the glory for all the servants work.

No matter how big, how great or how awesome my service is to the Lord, it is GOD who is able to establish His people.  I must entrust everything to Him at ALL TIMES; giving back the glory to the only wise God no matter what!  He deserves all the glory.  Because of this, I must be faithful with my work because God is the one who is able to ESTABLISH people - to ground them, to make them take root - for what is being taught.  Today, I will trust everything to God who is in control in establishing His people (to me, the youth) and I will just do what I have to do with the best of my ability.

Lord, ALL GLORY TO YOU ALWAYS!  No matter what happens, it is YOU who will establish your people as I speak your gospel and the proclamation of your Son Jesus Christ.  I just commit everything to You and entrust all that I do for Your glory.  In Jesus' name, amen.
