Colossians 2:20
20 Since you died with Christ to the elemental spiritual forces of this world, why, as though you still belonged to the world, do you submit to its rules...
Being in Christ means a new kind of life. Dead to the elemental spiritual forces of this world and not living as though one belonging to it anymore nor submitting to its rules.
In what way does my life portray or show that I now belong to Christ? Anything that still seems as though I live in the world - all aspects of my being - must be considered dead; not to be awaken nor entertained.
I will live for Christ; consistently dying to self - daily!
// Lord, You are the reason for my living. I pray that You continually help me to obey you in all aspects of my life; showing to people a kind of life that only portrays that I belong to You. Give me wisdom and the empowerment for I only desire to show Christ who's alive in me. In Jesus' name, amen.
