Isaiah 20:9-11
9 Isaiah answered, “This is the LORD’s sign to you that the LORD will do what he has promised: Shall the shadow go forward ten steps, or shall it go back ten steps?”
10 “It is a simple matter for the shadow to go forward ten steps,” said Hezekiah. “Rather, have it go back ten steps.”
11 Then the prophet Isaiah called on the LORD, and the LORD made the shadow go back the ten steps it had gone down on the stairway of Ahaz.
The Lord indeed has no problem fulfilling His promises; even granting “extras” for what we ask Him if we are faithful, wholeheartedly devoted, and have done what is good in the eyes of the Lord. Yes, the Lord does not need our “goods” for Him to fulfill His promises, but those are just extra that we get to experience God’s “extras” because we walking in His ways.
I must learn to trust the Lord. He will do the impossible. The Lord is able to do impossible and out-of-the-norm type of things. If we are just able to trust and believe in God, we would need not to worry about life.
I will trust in the Lord. He really does know what’s up!
// Lord, I’m not sure what this “impossible” thing or “extra” thing you want to tell me about… but I do trust in Your plans; I do trust that You will fulfill your promise… and that my extra goods are just there to please you with me, Your creation. I pray that you will guide me and give me the capacity to somehow understand,at least just little bit, your amazing love and grace. Thank you for Your goodness! I love you! In Jesus’ name, amen.
