2 Chronicles 34:14, 16, 27
14 While they were bringing out the money that had been taken into the temple of the LORD, Hilkiah the priest found the Book of the Law of the LORD that had been given through Moses.
16 Then Shaphan took the book to the king and reported to him: “Your officials are doing everything that has been committed to them.

27 Because your heart was responsive and you humbled yourself before God when you heard what he spoke against this place and its people, and because you humbled yourself before me and tore your robes and wept in my presence, I have heard you, declares the LORD.

God hears those who are humble before Him.
When we read the Word of the Lord, does it affirm what we are already doing?
If not, are we responsive and humble enough to turn our ways in order for it to align with God's Word?

// As I continually read God's Word daily, may it align my actions to what God "committed" for me to do and be.  And if rebukes my wrong doings, thoughts, motives, etc. let me be changed by it and have a humble heart.

// Lord, please help me to re-align to you the things that are not in my life.  Thank you for the affirmation of the things you have changed in me.  Being a Christian requires change daily. I pray that You will help me be successful in obeying You by the power of Your Holy Spirit.  Please give me wisdom when there are times I don't exactly know what to do; give me the power to change my thinking when my thinking is completely dark in your sight.  Especially at times when I am thinking wrongly of my brother or sister, help me to change and have Your mind.  Thank you Lord, in Jesus' name, amen.
