Ephesians 2:19 So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family.
I think about this as the idea of someone who just got adopted to a family, or got in a prestigious school, or became a part of an elite. We as Gentiles have been given the opportunity to be a part of God's kingdom. Therefore, we must live as one who belongs to the family of God. Keeping up with God's commands and standards becausr we belong to an elite family, a Kingdom and priesthood.
My life must display that I belong to the family of God. I owe this opportunity to God. I will never get to repay it but I can live my life in gratitude.
Lord, thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a part of your family. Help me to keep up with your standards that my life would display my belongingness to Your family, my family. In Jesus' name, Amen.
