Flavorful

Colossians 4:6 (AMP)

Let your speech at all times be gracious (pleasant and winsome), seasoned [as it were] with salt, [so that you may never be at a loss] to know how you ought to answer anyone [who puts a question to you].

Today, I know I need to do this so I can display a Christ-like attitude.  Putting on Christ as my clothing today, esp when things don’t exactly go the way “I want” them to go.  After all, it’s not about what “I want” but how I can be gracious (pleasant and winsome), seasoned – flavorful and not bland speech.

I need to be flavorful in the way I related to people today – that they will taste something good in the way I relate to them today and always.

Lord God, I need Your help on this big time.  I pray that You will help me to always be aware of Your presence that will empower me to do the impossible things I am supposed to do.  Help me to be selfless in the way I relate to people, and that I will be displaying a Christ-like attitude at all times.  May you season my speech with salt that I will be flavorful when people converse and interact with me.  In Jesus’ name, amen.
