Leeeeway

Jeremiah 5:23-25 NLT

But my people have stubborn and rebellious hearts.
They have turned away and abandoned me. They do not say from the heart,
‘Let us live in awe of the LORD our God,
for he gives us rain each spring and fall,
assuring us of a harvest when the time is right.’ Your wickedness has deprived you of these wonderful blessings.
Your sin has robbed you of all these good things.

Come to think of it, th Lord is very gracious.  He gave so much leeway to us and His people Israel.  Yet we lose sight of what and who we ought to be. 

Since God is so gracious, I need to remember God's mercy to me.  How much He has given me more chances.to start over.  I need to just be faithful to Him and not put anything before Him... Putting Him first and He has no problem pouring out His blessings. 

Thank you Jesus for you are good to me.  I pray I will be sensitive to your mercy each moment.  Help me to love and live for you each moment.  Guide me to paths that will help.me.remember your grace.  Love u too Lord, amen.
