John 19:7-8 NLT
The Jewish leaders replied, “By our law he ought to die because he called himself the Son of God.”
When Pilate heard this, he was more frightened than ever.
People, both unbelievers and believers, have, to some degree, a hearing of God's conviction in their hearts. God can speak to us in many ways... and when we are keen and careful to listen, we will know that it is Him speaking to us. Like Pilate, when we know that we are hearing or Jesus, the King of the Jews speaking to us, do we heed the conviction or do we disregard it?
I want to always heed God's voice when He speaks to me. I believe i will know that it is God speaking to me because i am a child of God and i am honored to obey Him as he gives me grace to do so. I will be sensitive to God's voice and speaking times... esp when my soul wants to do otherwise. I will be sensitive. Waiting on the Lord.
Lord, i wait for You. Pls help me.embrace your grace that enables me to do the impossible. In Jesus' name, amen.
