Jeremiah 48:10
A curse on him who is lax in doing the Lord's work!
A curse on him who keeps his sword from bloodshed.
The Lord exposed Moab of their doings.
If u notice, the Lord does not appreciate lazy bums who are lazy in doing the work of the Lord. The sword that this is talkng about comes across to me in our day and age means that we ought to slay any sin that's present -- to cut that off by using thr sword, Word of God.
I must be proactive in the work of the Lord. I rebuke any form of laziness and the attiude of passivity from the sins of those that needed to be pointed out, including myself.
Lord help me to be active in correction and rebuke. I pray that you would strengthen me as i do Your kingdom work within my grasp. Pls guide me Lord and help me to hear you more clearly that i may know what you are leading me to do. I lift to You my life. In Jesus' name amen.
