“Right Protected”

Psalm 105:14-15

14 He allowed no one to oppress them;
   for their sake he rebuked kings:
15 “Do not touch my anointed ones;
   do my prophets no harm.”

The Lord has been in the “protecting business” for a long time.

The Lord is gracious to His chosen ones – those who are set apart and consecrated for God’s use alone (those who are in the 5-fold office, full time ministers , pastors, teachers, apostles, prophets, evangelists, etc…)  He will never allow them to be harmed…

The Psalmist said, “I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.” Psalm 37:25

Those who are doing the work of the Kingdom of God here on earth (and Christians, in general) are protected by the hand of God.

// This really reminds me how God loves me so much that even if there were times I felt that I was bruised with those who have hurt the ministry God has entrusted to these hand’s care,  by the grace of God, I am still here.  Praise God that He loves us – that all that He perhaps, give and take away, are part of His protective heart so we don’t get bruised over and over again.  Yes, I may have done some unworthy things (and we all do) but God is so gracious.  I must take God’s love for me to heart.

TODAY – I must rejoice that whoever and whatever the Lord puts in and takes out in my life, it is because He is protecting me from any harm.  I must always be listening to His direction in my life.

// Lord, thank you for reminding me and letting me know how much you care and love me.  You are an awesome and amazing God.  You never change and you are always on the look out for me, Your child.  I pray that You will help me rejoice, for there are times I am not grasping how much this is a moment of rejoicing for what You have done for me.  I pray that You give me a new heart to always see the good side of when you remove and put people or things in my life for my protecting. You are so awesome Lord.  Blessed be Your name, Jesus!  I love You! In Jesus’ name, amen.
