In all your detestable practices and your prostitution you did not remember the days of your youth, when you were naked and bare, kicking about in your blood.
When the Israelites were so dug down in sin, the Lord was reminding them of how they used to be prior to their rebellion. For what reason? Perhaps the Lord is reminding them how wonderful it was to be clean and free of sin.
It is good to remember the good ol days to remind us of the GOOD we had in them.. not to go back to the bad we did in the past, but to be encouraged and reminded that even when we have reached a discouraging season of life, we can still be awaken to remember the good old days of fun, joyfulness, and freedom.
I need to remember and the good old days of skinny days, haha. But really. I need to be back to the days when i was carefree of others' commentaries of what i do and just going forward like an unstoppable train heading to my destination. I need to remember the days when i used to write down a lot ideas down, always improving, always reading and learning, and always up for a nice adventure. Of course, there are lots of things that i can also change from the good old days, and those i will also recognize to improve. I will do that!
Lord, please help me to be energized and motivated to do the nice things in the good old days. I need your strength Lord. In Jesus' name amen.
