Shameful

Proverbs 25:21-22 (NLT)

21 If your enemies are hungry, give them food to eat.
If they are thirsty, give them water to drink.
22 You will heap burning coals of shame on their heads,
and the LORD will reward you.

Here’s a way to “shame” our enemies – TURN THE OTHER CHEEK!

Anyone can be nice to people who are nice; but only Christ-infused people can be nice to their enemies.

Who's your enemy?  In what way have you radically turned the other cheek?

// When I have been given the opportunity, I’d like to be nice to my enemies.  Only by God’s enabling grace will it help me to do this.  I know how hard this will be when the actual time comes, but I also know that if Christ has endured the cross, I can also endure this and be victorious later.  I will look ahead of the joy instead of the pain at the moment.  I WILL BE VICTORIOUS.

// Lord, I embrace Your grace right now.  I just pray that You would help me to really be radical in my responses when I have been given the opportunity to show my Christ-infused lifestyle.  I want to give glory to You in all that I do.  May You just help me in my decisions and choices that I will bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, amen.
