Clear Conscience

1 John 3:21-22 (AMP)

21 And, beloved, if our consciences (our hearts) do not accuse us [if they do not make us feel guilty and condemn us], we have confidence (complete assurance and boldness) before God,

22 And we receive from Him whatever we ask, because we [[e]watchfully] obey His orders [observe His suggestions and injunctions, follow His plan for us] and [[f]habitually] practice what is pleasing to Him.

Clear conscience = truly loving (the Lord and our brothers in Him not merely by theory but by actions)

Clear conscience = coming boldly to the throne of God

Clear conscience = receiving from Him whatever ask

// Maintaining a clear conscience means obedience to God’s commands – to believe (and know) Jesus intimately and showing our love to our brothers by actions; which results to being able to come before the Lord confidently leading to the receipt of God’s blessings for whatever we ask.

Will always need to maintain a clear conscience because God is true to His Word and will not fail on me.  As long as i am obeying Him, I am able to experience his goodness.  Must love others truly by actions… If I had to experience a challenge in showing agape love to others, the Lord will enable me to do so.

// Lord, help me to develop a daily habit of clear conscience.  That in all that I do, You will be glorified and people will bring praise to You.  Help me to love my brothers and sisters in You with a an agape kind of love – one that is infused by You.  Thank you for the enablement and the grace you have poured out in my life.  I will gladly receive it.  Were I to experience challenges, help me to just trust in Your power.  In Jesus’ name, amen.
