16“‘After this I will return
and rebuild David’s fallen tent.
Its ruins I will rebuild,
and I will restore it,
17that the remnant of men may seek the Lord,
and all the Gentiles who bear my name,
says the Lord, who does these things’b
18that have been known for ages.
It has been a prophecy that the Lord will rebuild Israel - His people - through its ruins, and even the Gentiles whom the Lord has also called.
Principles:
.. The Lord can rebuild using anyone and anything
.. The Lord is the God of rebuilding and restoring what has been broken
.. The Lord rebuilds and restores in order for those who are part of the "remnant" may seek the Lord.
.. "that have been known for ages...." meaning it's been known for a long while.
// Rebuild and Restore so the remaining remnant may seek the Lord.
Who ever is remaining MAY SEEK THE LORD. God can use anyone. He will rebuild the ruins -- whatever has been affected, the Lord can rebuild and restore. Be used by the Lord. The Lord never just let the ruins be led to waste... He will use what has been damaged for the glory of His name. The Lord uses every pieces to be put back together - to be rebuilt and restored!
// Lord, USE ME ACCORDING TO YOUR GRACE. I pray that You will empower me as I be used in rebuilding and restoring using the ruins that are left. Nothing is impossible with You God and I will just continually be sensitive to Your leading that I may be effect in Your Kingdom all over again. Thank you for Your mercy, grace, and love that never ends. I love You Lord and I will continually live for You no matter what happens. Thank you for Your love for me. All this I offer to You in Jesus' name, amen.
