Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.He will not grow tired or weary,and his understanding no one can fathom.
That phrase in bold just reminds me of the fact that, "If we only knew" the greatness of God, then we can look at our tiredness in a different light. If we only knew or realize that God is the creator, he doesn't get tired nor weary, and that his understanding no one has ever reached, then we can be better in our dealings with life. We need to always remember his greatness... That he never fades nor does he become changeable...
I need to know more of God. Knowing Him more will help me to look at the troubles in life in a different way. That they are minute compared to the greatness of God. Today, I am really tired. I need a new and fresh perspective on things.... It has been a long day. Yet I know I need to find strength in the Lord and my perspective be turned over to Him. I need to remember that He is my source of strength... that He is my source of joy, energy, power and abilities and skills to do whatever. I need to just know My God, my Father is that kind of God.
Lord, I want to know you more. Please help me to minimize all the distractions and to just really focus on you. Help me to at least understand some that you are so great. That littleness of knowledge of your greatness will be enough for me to really dig deeper.... And I know it will continue to grow. Please help me and guide me. In Jesus' name, amen
