Old and Fruitful

Psalm 92:12-15
12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree,
    they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; 
13 planted in the house of the Lord,
    they will flourish in the courts of our God. 
14 They will still bear fruit in old age,
    they will stay fresh and green,
15 proclaiming, “The Lord is upright;
    he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him. ”

The righteous are those who plainly obeys the Lord and follow His commands no matter what the cost.  With them, there is no such thing as old age.  They will flourish, still bear fruit and staying fresh.

.. I wanna be just like that... Never fading and always fresh.  With that, I will continue to obey and just love the Lord with everything I've got and trust that He's got all that I need provided for me daily.  I will enjoy life as it is now and just continue to remain in the righteousness of God.  My life in Christ will be a display of that glory and I will live for Him all the days of my life.

.. Lord, what a great assurance of your word to help me remember that living in your righteousness and living in the standards of your righteousness is worth living.  I pray that you will help me enjoy this life every single day.  In Jesus'name amen.
