Step by Step

Praise the Lord!
How joyful are those who fear the Lord
and delight in obeying his commands.
Their children will be successful everywhere; an entire generation of godly people will be blessed. They themselves will be wealthy, and their good deeds will last forever. (Psalms 112:1-3 NLT)

Obedience is the key to a godly succeeding generation, wealth and eternal remembrance of good deeds.

I know that because of the act of obedience I offered in faith to the Lord 7 years ago, God has blessed me with a great child, wealth (provision no matter what!), and in progress of continually doing my best for the Kingdom. I know there are still things in my life I need to constantly ask God to give me strength to obey Him -- big and small, I will just obey Him little by little. Constantly asking myself, what does God want me to do at this moment, will help me take it a step at a time. There are things I do not do because I fear, but i trust in God when i do have to obey. I will take it step by step to obeying the Lord.

// Lord God, please help me to just take steps of faith in acting in obedience to your ways and will in my life. I pray that you condition my heart to always WANT to obey you no matter what the cost. In Jesus' name amen.
