Joy, joy, joy

Psalm 19:8
The precepts of The Lord are right
giving joy to the heart.

I remember feeling joy in my heart each time I hear clearly from The Lord from His word. It's an amazing feeling... I desire that again. It's true that the precepts of The Lord are right and they do give joy to the heart.

How do I get that back? I need to jut continually devour the precepts of The Lord as much as I used to before. Need to be back on track in going deeper into God's word. I will do so. I will read as much as I can again... Hence The Lord reminds us to read his word day and night because it is what gives direction and joy to the heart.

// Lord, help me to really be back on track with my times of extended reading. I want to experience the joy in reading your truths and following your precepts. Give me the time to do it and not be consumed in doing other things. Help me to develop that discipline again. In Jesus' name, amen.
