Number The Days

Psalm 90:12
Teach us to number our days,
that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

Interesting enough to know that when we learn to number our days, we actually then know how to do life and how to live a life with wisdom. How so? How many people who are at the end of life say their final words that they wish they said when they had more time? Or that when people know they are in the last days of where they are, they tend to do the best things then knowing that is it their last.

In the same way, we ought to continually learn to number our days on earth, in our relationships, in the workplaces, in our friendships, in our ministries so we may have a heart (mindset) of wisdom.

It is a constant need to number the days where and who I am involved in in order that I may always have a heart of wisdom; always knowing what to do, full of practical applications and wisdom. I need to work on it daily... Especially in some relationships.

Lord, please change my attitude towards life and people. Sometimes it is really hard to number my days when sometimes all I just wanna do is let things go and not work on them anymore. I pray that you please change my mentality and that I need to number my days in ministry, my family, my work, my everyday life knowing that it may be my last. Thank you God for such a beautiful reminder of your great plans for us to experience the best life there is. Ini Jesus' name, amen.
