Wait

³ Yes, let none who trust and wait hopefully and look for You be put to shame or be disappointed... (Psalm 25:3b)

What a great reminder of God's amazing promise - that those who wait in hope will never be put to shame nor will be disappoint.  How many times do we give up or want to give up?  What motivates us to keep going?  Sometimes the rewards, sometimes the pressure, the loneliness or the rush to get to the next instead of waiting on God's ways to unfold leaves us to stop waiting on God.  Yet, this verse reminds us that those who WAIT HOPEFULLY will not be put to shame or be disappointed.  That should be enough reason for us to wait in hope... that is a large motivation for us to move forward - the rewards will not disappoint you.

Today, I will wait on the Lord.  I may sometimes do not understand what God is doing and where He is taking me while I am in the picture, but I trust that as I wait on His ways and time, I will never be put to share nor disappointed.  He loves me!

Lord, I thank You for Your promises.  I can keep going because Your word is true and will not disappoint me nor cut my hope short.  The best is yet to come.  I will wait on YOU!  In Jesus' name, amen.
