Mouth

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. (Romans 10:9, 10 NIV)

Our mouth is what we use to profess, declare, shout out our faith.  Not when our mouths are closed that we are able to share our faith.  

Nowadays, our literal mouth still has the ability to profess our faith in Christ.  As well, we have other "mouths" that we use in today's society to proclaim and profess our faith - social media, blogs, and other medium that has a "voice" to profess our faith.

I will profess my faith and raise my voice to let people know I am a disciple of Christ. As well as using other means to raise my voice in a different way. If indeed a person has Christ, it is natural that the person will "profess" his/her faith through whatever "voice" we can profess it with.

..Lord, help me to always be genuine in my profession of my faith in you.  Please help me to never hold back in every "mouth" you have given me to use to profess my faith. In Jesus' name, amen.
