Our lives must be the evidence of our talk. At many times, we end up talking to people based off of theory and knowledge; and not based on what Christ has done in our lives - transformations and the revelations given through the Word. Paul was clear that what he talked was what he walked.
Be careful not only to talk based off of knowledge and less or none of the revelation and transformation the Holy Spirit has done in us.
.. I still have a lot to work on! There have been much knowledge that God has imparted to me that I have not even put into action. I must take it one day at a time to let that knowledge turn into actions; that I may be able to speak about them based off of the transformation and revelation the Holy Spirit has done in my life. I want to be a vessel without the dross (Proverbs 25:4).
.. Lord, please help me to be completely cleaned out of dross that I may only speak of what You have transformed me with and changed me according to the cleansing of Your Word! Lord, need you ever so badly. Please help me to be obedient to you... Not only on the big things but also the little things. Give me wisdom on how to act out what 'dross' you want to remove from me that you can use me mightily. In Jesus' name, amen.
